PROCTORVILLE - Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are blaming patches of ice on roads for four car accidents yesterday morning during rush hour in the eastern end of the county. Two accidents took place near the 31st Street Bridge; two others took place on other areas of State Route 7.

Troopers reported that most of the injuries and property damage were minor. However, a Kitts Hill man was transported to Cabell-Huntington Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained in a three-car chain reaction accident. He was identified as John MacMillan, 26, was treated in the emergency room and released.
