Angel Joyce Vance and Shawn Allen Jackson were united in marriage July 3 at Glorybound Church of God in Ashland, Ky. The Rev. Mike Ratcliff performed the double-ring candlelight ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Brenda Bailey of Ironton.

The groom is the son of LeeAnn Spencer and Matt Spencer and Edward Jackson, of Ironton.

The bride wore a white silk princess gown layered with pearls and Chantilly lace. It had a long train. Her veil was attached to a tiara and she carried a bouquet of white roses with lace streamers. She was escorted and given in marriage by her mother and father.

The groom wore a black suit with a white carnation.

Elizabeth Owens, sister of the groom, served as matron of honor. Alexandra Spencer, sister of the groom, was flower girl and was escorted by her mother.

Eddie Jackson, brother of the groom, served the groom as best man.

Nuptial selections “From This Moment On” and “God Bless The Broken Road” were performed by Emily Shay Vance, cousin of the bride

Following a honeymoon of several days at the Fairfield Inn, the couple are residing in Ironton.
