Endangering children — State Route 243, Ironton Sunday, eight-year-old-child reportedly beaten on buttocks with studded belt, severity of bruises noted in deputy’s report, Jeremy S. Duncan, 31, charged with endangering children and taken to jail.

Domestic — Proctorville Monday, man and woman reportedly in dispute, gun in residence, Otis Aldridge, 60, 1000 Wallace Lane, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.

Aggravated trespass, assault — Township Road 271W, Ironton Thursday, two couples reportedly in dispute over child care, advised.

Domestic— Fayette Township Sunday, woman, children, reportedly menaced, Larry E. Blankenship, 39, 46 Private Drive 9992, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

County jail

— Irene M. Abbott, 25, 404 Front St., Proctorville, assault Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Earl L. White, 31, 96 Private Drive 153, South Point, domestic violence Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

—Granvil Hamm Jr., 58, Kenova, W.Va., domestic Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Judy A. Donald, 38, Huntington, W.Va., obstructing official business, disorderly conduct Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
