Organ donors are heroes who save countless lives

If you could be a hero and save or improve the lives of up to 50 people, would you do it?

Most of us won’t have the opportunity in our lives to make an impact this tremendous. But, we can be heroes after death: Through organ and tissue donation.

More than 101,000 Americans, including 3,000 Ohioans, are currently waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. They’re waiting for a hero to say, “Yes” to organ and tissue donation.

Sadly, 18 men, women and children will die each day in the U.S. because a transplant didn’t come in time. You have the power to change that.

April is Donate Life Month and it’s a perfect time to register as an organ, eye and tissue donor. You can register when you renew your license at the BMV or online at lifelineofohio.org.

Make the decision to be a hero. Be an organ and tissue donor. Join the Ohio Donor Registry today.
