CIRCLEVILLE — Luther “Bud” Pauley, 70 died Sunday, July 12, 2009, surrounded by his family at his residence.
He was born Dec. 19, 1938 in Coal Grove, son of the late Luther and Elizabeth (Slone) Pauley. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from DuPont with over 35 years of service. Bud loved his grandchildren, fixing things around the house, magic tricks, and watching football.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Willard Pauley and daughter-in-law, Michelle Pauley.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pat (Smith) Pauley; his children, Jeff Pauley, Karen (Paul) Nagel and Rob Pauley, all of Circleville; his grandchildren, Ashley (Jimmy Martinez) Pauley, Kevin Smith, Rachel and Jacob Nagel; great grandson Dominick Martinez; sister Nancy (Chuck) Urick of Chillicothe; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville where family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service.
