Water woes hit Coal Grove

COAL GROVE — The water was back on in Coal Grove Wednesday afternoon following a Tuesday night line break.

Service was restored by 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to Nadine Malone of the village.

A boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.

The village turned the water off Wednesday morning, though some customers have not had it since Tuesday night.

Dawson-Bryant schools were canceled Wednesday.

The problem was caused by a break in the water line that goes to the company’s tank.

The line has been repaired and the village had to wait for the tank to fill before it turned on the water again.
