Small business tax workshop Jan. 28

The Small Business Tax Workshop is a one-day workshop designed to help small businesses in southern Ohio learn about the different Business Tax Requirements. Attendees will learn about the various types of business structures and the advantages and disadvantages of each as it relates to business taxes.

In addition, participants will learn about Ohio sales tax, personal property tax, and state tax withholding.

The workshop is being hosted by the OSU South Centers Business Development Network, and sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service and the Ohio Department of Taxation.

The Small Business Tax Workshop will be Thursday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Endeavor Center at The Ohio State University South Centers. The OSU South Centers Endeavor Center is located at 1862 Shyville Rd., Piketon. While the workshop is free, continental breakfast and lunch will be available for $15. Space is limited, so please register in advance.
