Dr. and Mrs. Daniel B. Ray of Raceland, Ky. and Ms. Rebecca Mattingly of Ashland, Ky. are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children Hannah Leigh Ray and Jonathan Jay Leavitt.

Miss Ray is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sarah Whitehead and the late Richard L. Whitehead and the late Harold and Dorothy Ray, all of Ironton. She is a 2005 graduate of Ironton High School and is currently enrolled at Ashland Community Technical College, pursuing a degree in nursing.

Mr. Leavitt is the grandson of the late Justin and Grace Mattingly of Flatwoods, Ky. He is a 2005 graduate of Rose Hill Christian High School. He studied business management at Ashland Community Technical College and is the owner and CEO of LSW Tree Service.

A church wedding will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2011, at Raceland United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the Bellefonte Country Club, Ashland, Ky. Invitations have been sent.
