The bride-to-be is a graduate of Rockcastle County High School in Mount Vernon, Ky., and the University of Kentucky. She is attending UK School of Medicine and will graduate in May 2012.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Russell High School and the University of Kentucky. He is employed as the human resources director with OmniSource in Lexington.

The wedding will be Sept. 10, 2011, in Lexington.
