They were married July 3, 1961, at Sydenstricker Church in Ironton.

Eddie is retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation and Mary is retired from Bryant’s Health Center.

They have four children: Debbie (Rick) Stamper, Kim (Joe) Holtzapfel, Missy (Lonnie) Campbell and Eddie (Tansy) Koster. They have five grandchildren, Rick (Chasity) Stamper, Jimmy (Tiffany) Stamper, David Crossan, Kaitlin Thompson and Issac Koster. They have two great-grandchildren. They also have five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
