Harold is retired from Allied Chemical Corporation where he was employed as a chemical engineer in the research department. Betty is retired as a church secretary from First Baptist Church in Ironton. They continue to be active members at First Baptist Church.colors

They have two sons, Richard and Timothy Brown and two daughters-in-law, Suzanne and Vivian Brown. They have seven grandchildren, Sam Breckenridge, Sarah Brown, Garrett Brown, Stephanie Brown Stelzer, Christopher Brown, Jessica Brown and Jason Brown, grandson-in-law Jonathon Stelzer and a great-grandson, Caleb Stelzer.
