Elmer and Lois Ann Morrison Johnson, of Proctorville, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 6, 2011.

Elmer is a navy veteran of the Korean War and a retiree of Huntington Alloys (now Special Metals). Lois worked for Golden Shields Acceptance Agency before becoming a full time homemaker. They are members of Bethel Temple Assemblies of God in Huntington, W.Va.

Elmer and Lois have three children, Ramona Runyon, James Carter Johnson and Rev. Gregory Johnson. They are blessed with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
