Prowler — 700 block North Fifth Street, 12:35 a.m. Thursday, negative contact.

Vandalism — 300 block North Fifth Street, 8:24 a.m. Thursday, tires on car slashed.

Domestic — Murphy’s bar, parking lot, South Third Street, 2:24 p.m. Thursday, man reportedly beating woman, Gregory S. Bays, 40, 2237 Horn Hollow Road, Wurtland, Ky., arrested and taken to jail.

Robbery — Dollar General Store, South Third Street, 2:53 p.m. Thursday, money taken from man.

Trouble — 800 block North Fourth Street, 5:26 p.m. Thursday, negative contact.

Need officer — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue 9:01 p.m. Thursday, man shooting up on parking lot, unable to locate.

Fight — Fuzzy Duck, Center Street Boat Landing, 1:26 a.m. Friday, all involved left prior to officer’s arrival.

Fight — Fuzzy Duck, Center Street Boat Landing, 1:55 a.m. Friday, vehicle damaged.

Fight — JAB Lounge, South Third Street, 2:18 a.m. Friday, all moved on, no one wanted to file charges.

Threats — Reported at police station, 9:25 a.m. Friday, man reportedly threatened.

Pursuit — Reported by Greenup County, Ky., 911 4:30 p.m. Friday, car on Old US 52 headed toward Ironton, located, car impounded, citation issued.

 

Sheriff’s office

Domestic — Union Township 3:12 p.m. Thursday, man assaulted, Tara J. Garcia, 40, 1605 County Road 31, Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.
