Charles Allen and Tammy Friend of Coal Grove announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Friend, to Nathan Colegrove, son of Steve and Jami Colegrove of Willow Wood.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Helen Morrison of Coal Grove and Mildred Friend of Ironton and the late Charles “Bally” Friend. She is a 2005 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and a 2010 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed as a preschool teacher at the Lawrence County Early Childhood Center.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dennis and Charlotte Miller of Willow Wood and Betty Colegrove of Deering and the late Daren Colegrove. He is a 2006 graduate of Symmes Valley High School. He is employed at Modular Security Systems Incorporated.

A June wedding is planed and invitations will be sent.
