Published 2:20am Wednesday, June 6, 2012

Staff Report

The second annual Tri-State Rehab high school football combine will be held Saturday, at Ironton High School.

The event begins at 9 a.m. and players will be tested in the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, flexibility test, 3-cone drill and the L-drill.

Each player’s individual results will be recorded and distributed to colleges of their choice.

The combine is a simulation to those conducted by the NFL for rookies to test their performance levels prior to the draft. All drills are to test speed, strength, agility and flexibility.

Cost is $50 and lunch will be provided. Each participant receives a T-shirt. Checks can be made payable to Tri-State Rehab Services.

Guest speaker is former Ohio State Buckeye Marcus Williams.
