Obama hasn’t done much for nation
Published 10:17am Tuesday, August 7, 2012President Barack Obama has lied about the jobs that he has created. He said that millions have been put to work.
If this is so, then just why didn’t his stimulus keep unemployment below 8 percent where it was when he took office?
There are millions more out of work than have been put to work since he took office. His foolish spending has caused the national debt to increase drastically.
Bush raised it $5 trillion in eight years. Obama has raised it more than $5 trillion in less than four years, with no end in sight.
Obama claims he is for the middle class, but the middle class to him is those who make less than $250,000 a year. I have never made anywhere near $70,000 a year in my entire life.
In going with the “Green Movement, ” which has been a total disaster, he has cost us nearly a billion dollars. The wind fans have killed millions of birds and produced very little electricity.
The reason he doesn’t know how to run a company, let alone a country, is because he has never done much. He was a “community organizer,” state senator with no record to be proud of, a U.S. Senator with very little experience and has offered many votes of “present.”
This just shows how little that we can expect from him in the future.
We all know that he is good at reading a written statement from a teleprompter. However, ask him a simple question and you get “uh, uh,” then a few words.
If you listen to Jim Crawford in his writings he’s the best thing that ever happened to America.
But, you see, Crawford is blind to the facts because he is a Democrat and, to him, Democrats never make mistakes of any kind.

keta; My compliments, an even handed comment. I have my concerns when it comes to the survival of Medicare and Social Security, two of the most beneficial social programs this country has. I think Paul Ryan’s view’s on these two programs are cause for concern.

I actually think Paul Ryan is an attractive candidate who isn’t nearly as wooden as Romney, and is much more articulate and likable. I just think it would have been a good idea if, in his famous budget, he’d have required the wealthiest people in America to contribute something, anything, toward reducing the deficit. It’s insane to expect everyone else to make painful sacrifices and leave the 1%, which is getting richer at a rate we haven’t seen in nearly a hundred years, completely untouched. Apparently we can’t afford medicare anymore, and social security must be privatized in order to survive. Yet he would keep the tax cuts for the wealthiest in place, and their new tax rates will top out at 25%, the lowest since the Hoover administration. Right-wingers are saying, Finally, someone who’s serious about controlling spending. In reality, republicans haven’t done a thing to rein in spending. The only difference in them and Democrats is who benefits. In republican administrations, “who benefits” are corporations and the wealthy .

Well Keta, I see you are towing the political line. Ryan is cutting tax rates 20% across the board. He is also cutting deductions across the board. This affects the rich and the poor.
Now here is where we differ…
I (and those on the right) believe that the IRS should only collect taxes.
You (and those on the left) believe it should be used as a means of redistributing wealth.
How is it a tax increase on the poor if they don’t pay taxes?
If you get $4,000 from the government this year and only $3,000 next year, how did the amount of taxes you “paid” go up?
———–
And I would like to correct another one of your numerous falsehoods:
“…the 1%, which is getting richer at a rate we haven’t seen in nearly a hundred years”
Those Over $1 million earned a total of
2007 = $1,401.1 B
2009 = $726.9 B
Change = -48%
——
over $200K
2007 = $2,847.2 B
2009 = $1,964.3 B
Change = -31%
———
under $200K
2007 = $5,951.3B
2009 = $5,861.1B
Change = -1.5%
———
What, you haven’t heard that news at the liberal websites you visit?
I wonder why that is?

Wow… it’s been over 12 hours since Ryan was picked as Romney’s running mate and Keta hasn’t been in here telling us how Paul Ryan’s 7 yr old daughter was turning tricks in kindergarden class, that one of her brothers was caught dealing drugs… Or that Ryan’s wife liked to burn books.

Actually Indie hun, it was democrats that caused the economic recession.
And I find it funny that you think that a net loss of jobs is an accomplishment…
And Indie hun, I missed your reaction to this poll:
A new poll shows that President Obama is losing nine percent of his 2008 supporters to Mitt Romney..
Gallup finds that 86 percent of 2008 Obama voters say they plan to vote for the president again. Nine percent, however, say they’re now supporting Romney.

Yes, other polls might be showing Obambi lead growing… maybe it was because the “Romney gave my wife cancer and killed her” ads.

I will type this real fast. The 3.3 million+ jobs Obama created in the last 3 years is a great start to turning around the Bush recession.
Who in their right mind thinks ANYONE could have turned around the ABSOLUTE DISASTER that George W. Bush…your guy Noesis…left for America???
Nobody.
Noesis is just nit-picking because he cares more about the republican party than she does about America.
She also likes a good poll now and then, and I’d love to hear what she has to say about the latest ones…
“Three polls show Obama widening lead over Romney”
August 11, 2012
“Three polls released in the past 24 hours show President Barack Obama widening his lead over the former Massachusetts governor to as much as nine points. The surveys of registered voters, all conducted between Aug. 2 and 8, also have Mr. Romney’s unfavorable ratings headed north. Two of the polls show his support among independents slipping.
A Fox News poll found the largest deficit, with Mr. Romney trailing by nine points (49 to 40 percent) That’s the widest gap Fox has reported all year….”

Me: “So let me see if we’re all clear here. You are not disputing the fact that Obama has added 3,354,000 jobs, right?
—————-
Indie, I’ll type this slow for you. If you go into the Casino and lose $12,000 but on your last pull on the slots, You hit a $3,345 jackpot, you don’t get to claim to your friends that you are $3,345 richer than when you went in.
That’s why the unemployment numbers are higher now than when Obama took office. Obama has lost more jobs than he has gained.
