SOUTH POINT — A man and woman from Marion were hospitalized Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on State Route 93 in Decatur Township.

Roger Dailey 52, and Annette Dailey, also 52, were ejected from the bike; they were taken by helicopter to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper said neither was wearing a helmet.

According to a state patrol statement, the accident happened just after 5 p.m. Saturday near the State Route 93/ State Route 373 intersection.

It is believed Roger Dailey, who was operating the motorcycle, drove off the right edge of the road and struck a guardrail.

The crash remains under investigation.

Information on their conditions was not available as of presstime.
