A bridge to the future

Published 10:04am Friday, August 24, 2012

Ironton area residents must feel a little like expectant parents: They know the new Ironton-Russell Bridge is on its way, but the waiting has at times seemed interminable.

Ohio Department of Transportation officials and Brayman Construction personnel gave a tour of what is now and a preview of what will be. By the summer of 2015, motorists will be driving on a new bridge.

The complete story will be published in the Sunday edition of The Tribune, detailing the project the community has been waiting for.
