GRAYSON, Ky. — The City of Grayson Ky., will host The American Veterans Traveling Tribute and Traveling Wall this weekend at Kentucky Christian University.Outer

The mission of the project is to travel the nation to honor, respect and remember the men and women who have served or do serve in the military, and to pay specific tribute to those who gave all in that service. Since the tribute is mobile, it allows visitors to honor and respect veterans and active military personnel without having to travel great distances to do so.

The opening ceremony for the event will be 7 p.m. today. Among the speakers for the ceremony will be Col. Ralph Newman (Ret.).

On Saturday there will be a 10 a.m. wreath laying ceremony. A special Vietnam Veterans Only viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
