COAL GROVE — The Coal Grove Lady Hornets picked up a straight sets Ohio Valley Conference volleyball win Thursday over the River Valley Lady Raiders.

The Lady Hornets won 25-11, 25-21 and then took a thrilling 30-28 win.

Bailey Harrison had 11 points and 7 kills while Cami Hillier had 9 points — 6 aces— and 5 kills to pace Coal Grove.

Leslie Mulkey and Ashley Adkins each scored 9 points for the Lady Hornets and Cheyenne Bellomy added 9 kills.

River Valley won the junior varsity match.
