Hornets win golf tri-match

PINE GROVE — Led by medalist Brent Morgan, the Coal Grove Hornets won a golf tri-match on Monday at the Ironton Country Club.
Morgan shot a 35 as Coal Grove finished with a 186 score.
Cody Davidson was next for the Hornets with a 47, Brandon Adkins had a 49, Justin Mullens 55 and Tori Holmes shot a 57.
Ironton had a 221 total with Jaylen Thornhill shooting a 47 and Rhett Ball a 48 to pace the Fighting Tigers.
Cory Rawlins had a 58 and Brody Stormes shot a 68.
The Rock Hill Redmen had a 249 total. Aden Murnahan led the Redmen with a 60 followed by Logan Barcus with a 61, Levi Stewart 62, Logan Boggs 66 and Gavin Boggs rounded out the scores with a 70.
