Authorities investigate robbery

HANGING ROCK — Hanging Rock Police are investigating the hold up of Hop’s Carryout on U.S. 52 Friday evening.

A cashier at the store told police a man wearing a bandana over his face came into the store just before 10 p.m., showed a gun and demanded money.

Police Chief Chris Steed said the amount of money taken is still being determined.

Those with information about the robbery are encouraged to call police at (740) 532-7562.
