Mark Miller

Mark Anthony Miller, 51, of Pedro, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at the St. Mary’s Medical Center- Ironton Campus. The Lawrence County native was born Dec. 9, 1960, the son of the late Clarence and Anna Kerns Miller. He is survived by his wife, Connie F. Perry Miller.

Mark was a 1978 graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was an electrician for the OSCO Corporation and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Miller; two brothers, Ronald Miller and Rick Miller; two sisters, Claris Carmon and Sonja Kerns; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Irene Perry; brother-in-law, Gary Hanshaw; and son-in-law, Michael Rister.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Bill Shiver of Lithia, Fla.; daughter, Amanda Rister of Pedro; son and daughter-in-law, Mark “Andy” and Courtney Miller of Pedro; daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Jeff Morgan of Kitts Hill; three grandchildren, Taylor Shiver, Liam Shiver both of Lithia and Coleton Morgan of Kitts Hill; two sisters, Deborah and Randy Goodall and Brenda and Bud Depriest, all of Pedro; a brother, Terry and Bonnie Miller of Pedro; and a sister-in-law, Joann Miller of Pedro. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery. Laura Snyder

Laura Pauline Snyder, 79, of Huntington, W.Va., died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside service will be at noon Monday at Clay Family Cemetery. Robert Holley

Robert Parkis Holley, 65, of Chesapeake, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Sunset Nursing Center in Coal Grove. He was the husband of Beverly Holley, who survives. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point.
