PEDRO — Besides their game against the Fairland Dragons, the Rock Hill Redmen are playing another kind of team ball on Friday.

Rock Hill will be hosting a Spielman Gridiron Classic with a portion of the proceeds going toward the Stefanie Spielman Fund for breast cancer research.

Spielman — the former Ohio State All-American and NFL All-Pro linebacker — lost his wife Stefanie to breast cancer.

A variety of activities are planned including a raffle for a pink Spielman football jersey and a football, both autographed by Spielman.

Spielman Gridiron Classic games are held each weekend throughout the season.

Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
