Lions Club, Operation TLC to host pancake breakfast

CHESAPEAKE — Pancake lovers will converge on Chesapeake Elementary School Saturday for the Chesapeake, Proctorville, Rome Lion’s Club Annual Pancake Breakfast.

The cooks will warm up the griddles early Saturday morning and will begin serving the flapjacks at 7 a.m.

A new twist this year will be the partnership developed between the Lions and Operation TLC. The litter awareness and beautification group will lend a helping hand as hungry breakfast-eaters make their way through the line.

The Lions and Operation TLC will split the profits this year.

The public is invited to come and enjoy an all you can eat breakfast that includes pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee.

The breakfast ends at 11 a.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance at discounted prices from any Lions or Operation TLC member. At the door, the will cost will be $5.
