Larry Martin

Larry R. Martin, 65, of Ironton, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton.

He was born Nov. 10, 1946, a son of the late Arthur Martin and the late Colleen Wilson. He was a former brakeman for the DTI Railroad Company, a local Tri-State DJ and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Martin of Ironton; two daughters, Jackie Brooks and Malinta “Jo Jo” Martin, both of Ironton; four grandchildren, Rebecca Bridges, Bradley Harrison, Jennifer Harrison and Chelse Martin; and a host of family and friends.

Graveside rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Hanging Rock Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Sturgil presiding. Keeping with his wishes, he was cremated.  Kenneth McFann

March 31, 1933 — Oct. 29, 2012

Kenneth McFann, of Albany, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012.

He was born March 31, 1933, in Decatur, the son of the late Orville and Effie DeLaney McFann. Ken owned a heating and refrigeration business.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Belva Estep McFann; a son Kenneth Leon (Vickey) McFann of Pomeroy; a daughter Penelope McFann of Albany; grandsons, Adam McFann of South Point and Joe Flickinger of Athens; great-grandson, Auston Kent McFann; a special nephew Kenneth Ray McFann of Racine; brothers, Orville McFann of Ironton, and Forrest McFann and Harold McFann of Pedro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, Albany, with Perry Coriel officiating.

Gary Nelson, 64, of Lexington, Ky., died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his residence. Arrangements are pending at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home.

 

Donna Green

Donna Rosemary Click Green, 79, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Charles Green. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum officiated by Pastor Richard Dartey. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
