An Ironton woman will spend the next eight years in prison for trafficking in oxycodone pills.

Rebecca Allen, 44, of 915 1/2 Park Ave., pleaded guilty to second-degree aggravated trafficking in drugs and third-degree trafficking in drugs, from a prior indictment, Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.

The charges stem from a September raid of Allen’s home by the Lawrence County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, Ironton Police and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

More than $1,900 in cash and in oxycodone pills valued at more than $13,000 were confiscated from the residence.

Judge D. Scott Bowling also ordered Allen to pay a $10,000 fine and suspended her driver’s license for one year.

In other cases:

• Two brothers were sentenced for their burglary crimes.

Jacob Brown, 21, and James Brown, 19, both of 2811 County Road 6, Rock Camp, had previously pleaded guilty separately. They were both represented by attorney J.T. Holt.

Through a negotiated plea agreement, Bowling sentenced both brothers to six years in prison.

Jacob was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of third-degree attempted burglary. James was charged with two counts of second-degree complicity to burglary, third-degree attempted burglary and second-degree burglary.

In other cases:

• Roger Wallace, 50, of 409 Buckhorn St., Ironton, was arraigned on a bill of information of one count of fourth-degree domestic violence. Wallace pleaded guilty through attorney Warren Morford.

Bowling sentenced the man to four years community controlled sanctions under intensive supervised probation, 200 hours community service and ordered him to complete the STAR Community Justice Center treatment program.

• David Morrison, 26, of 2328 County Road 30, Kitts Hill, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree breaking and entering at Jerry’s Pay Lake. Morrison was represented by attorney Mike Davenport.

Bowling sentenced the man to four years CCS/ISP, STAR, 200 hours community service and ordered him to pay $980 in restitution.
