Junior Flyers split

The St. Joseph Junior Flyers split a pair of basketball games this week.

On Monday, the Flyers beat the Ashland Holy Family Fighting Irish 70-38.

Chase Walters scored 21 points to lead St. Joseph. Trey Neal had 13 points, Joey Bush scored 11, Payton Adkins and Isaac Walker 8 each, Clay Willis scored 4 and Brady Pemberton and James Carrico had 2 each.

On Wednesday, the Junior Flyers lost to Huntington St. Joseph 51-33.

Walters scored 17 points to pace the Flyers.

Neal had 8 points, Bush scored 6, Adkins got 4 and Willis added one.

John Morrison scored 14 for Huntington St. Joseph.

The Junior Flyers play at home next Wednesday at 6 p.m.
