Vernon Adkins Sr.

Vernon Asbury “Tom” Adkins Sr., 81, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of Wayne, W.Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. A visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. today at Hall Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at



Janice Moore

Janice W. Moore, 67 of Stout, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Janice is survived by her husband Robert J. Moore. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with the Rev. William Knittel officiating. Nellie Reathel Dillon, 96, of Scottown died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville by Pastor Jack Rankin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Hurl Miller

Hurl Thomas “Tom” Miller, 67, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. He survived by his wife, Iris Miller. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.



Annamary Elyash

Annamary Elyash, 91, of Huntington, W.Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the Heartland of Riverview, South Point. There will be no services. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at



Wilma Doyle

Wilma Rosalie Doyle, 89, of Ironton, went to meet the Lord at her home Thursday, January 24, 2013.

She was a member of the First Tabernacle Church, Ironton, and the Rock Hill Garden Club. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Carrie Stephenson.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Raymond G. Doyle and three daughters: Robin (Mike) Vanhorn, Lisa (Bill) Brown, and Kim (Randy) Quillen; four grandchildren: Jessica Rose Gillum, Justin Lee Gillum, Eric Doyle Brown, and Cody Lee Quillen; and one great-grandson: Laylan Ray Gillum.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 South 6th Street, Ironton, OH. A small memorial service by Rev. Jimmy Cremeans will be held at 5 p.m. during the visitation. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Community Hospice of Ironton, 2212 South 9th Street, Ironton.
