Donald Clutters

July 4, 1940-Feb. 3, 2013

Donald Ray Clutters Sr., 72 of Ironton, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at his residence. The Lawrence County native was born July 4, 1940, the son of the late Fred and Anna Mae Arthurs Clutters. He is survived by his wife Ethel Mae Bentley Clutters.

Mr. Clutters attended Rock Hill High School and was a painter for Trumbull Hospital in Warren for more than 35 years. He attended Stormes Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by first wife, Betty Lou Reed Clutters; a brother, Carl Clutters; and a sister, Sharon Clutters. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Dawn and Brian Gedders of Warren; a son, Donald Ray Clutters Jr. of  New Hamphire; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Jerry “Skip McIntyre” and Brenda Leith of Lebanon, Tenn.; a brother, George Clutters of Ironton; three sisters, Mary Ann Neal of Greensboro, N.C., Freda Cade of Waverly and Pat and Don Hall of Goshen, Ind.; three granddaughters, Miranda Geddes of Warren, Alycia Geddes of Warren and Joanna Leith of Ironton; two grandsons, Jeremy Leith and John Leith, both of Ironton; four great gran children, Emma Nicole Geddes of Warren, Shelbie Leith of Ironton, Dylan Wurst and Kayla Wurst, both of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Mamre Cemetery. Mary Spears

Mary Spears, 70,of Temple, Texas, formerly of Flatwoods, Ky., died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Temple Living Center Western Hills in Temple, Texas.  Arrangements are pending at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods.

 

 

Faye Wright

Sarah Faye Wright, 71, of Russell, Ky., died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was the husband of Larry Wright, who survives. Arrangements are pending at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood, Ky.

 

 

George Boggs

George Ronald Boggs, 79 of Chesapeake, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was the husband of Elizabeth Jo Boggs who survives. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home.
