ASHTON, W.Va. — It was double or nothing for the St. Joseph Female Flyers’ starting lineup.

All five starters scored in double digits as the Female Flyers breezed past the Hannan Lady Wildcats 83-34 on Thursday.

Amber Neal scored 20 points — all in the first half — and Hannah Miller scored 17 as the Female Flyers finished the regular season 18-3. Molly Miller and Lynsey Booker scored 12 points each and Hannah Martin had 10 points.

“We were happy with the way we pleased. We shot the ball pretty well, all five starters were in double figures and everybody scored. It was a nice win,” said St. Joseph coach Nick Miller.

Neal scored 13 points in the first quarter as the Female Flyers jumped out to a 22-2 lead.

Martin had 8 points and Neal scored 7 as the lead grew to 46-13 at the break.

The Miller sisters took over in the third quarter as Hannah scored 9 and Molly 6 to extend the cushion to 68-25.

St. Joseph’s backups played the fourth quarter and Sarah Snowden knocked down a 14-footer to cap the game’s scoring.

St. Joseph plays at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at Northwest High School in the Division IV sectional tournament.

Tickets are on sale at the high school and will be available at the two boys’ basketball games Saturday and Tuesday. Tickets are $5 and the school gets only a percentage of the pre-sale.

Hannan is now 3-13.
