Jr. Flyers win pair

After winning the Tri-State Catholic Middle School Tournament, the St. Joseph Junior Flyers finished the season with a pair of wins.

The Flyers beat Sciotoville East 67-30 on Monday.

Chase Walters had 19 points, Joey Bush and Peyton Adkins 11 each, James Carter scored 6, Tre Neal and Clay Willis 4 points apiece and Brady Pemberton had 2 points.

The Flyers ended the season on Thursday with a 40-24 win at Hannan, W.Va.

Neal led St. Joseph with 15 points, Bush scored 10, Walters 8, Willis 4 and Adkins had 3.

St. Joseph finished the season with an 11-5 record.
