Jack William Hale, 86, of Ironton, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Sunset Nursing Center, Coal Grove. Funeral service will be­­­­­­­­­­­­ 1 p.m. Monday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans’ Cemetery, Argillite, Ky. John Moore, 55, of Proctorville, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He is the husband of Patricia Moore, who survives. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home.

Ralph King

Ralph A. King, died Wednesday March 6, 2013, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, He was retired from Abbott Laboratories. He is survived by his siblings Martha King, Mary Tomlinson, Carol (Wayne) Harmon and Dan King; daughters Cathy (Dave) Ferguson and Andrea (Mark) Engle; grandchildren Emily (Sam) Durrett, Sara (Daniel) Ferguson and Hannah Engle; great granddaughter Piper Durrett; friends Mac McKitrick, Bob Stokes, the Scioto Downs crew and poker buds. Family will receive friends to celebrate his life Saturday from 2-6 pm at 3577 Redding Road, Columbus.
