Sheriff’s office

Breaking and entering — 90 Block Private Drive 578B, Ironton, Feb. 12, Fifth Third Bank employee reported vacant home owned by the bank had been broken into and kitchen cabinet and oven taken.

Criminal damaging — 100 block Township Road 1467, South Point, March 8, exterior door frame of home damaged.

Domestic violence — 200 block Private Road 348 Township Road 150, Pedro, March 10, woman alleged ex-husband threw glass of water on her while he was trying to pick up her daughter from his home, man alleged ex-wife grabbed him by the neck and shoved him.

Petty Theft — 1700 block County Road 1, South Point, March 9, air impact drive taken from tool box.

Disorderly conduct — Collins Career Center, Chesapeake, March 8, juvenile student allegedly cursed at teacher and punched a hole in the wall, cited to court.

Domestic violence, resisting arrest — 2100 block County Road 68, Proctorville, March 9, woman alleged husband threw things at her and grabbed her and would not let her go, woman also alleged the man grabbed their daughter by the throat after she tried to break up the struggle, — Ronald Christian, 41, of 2109 County Road 69, Proctorville, arrested.

Domestic violence — 10000 block County Road 107, Proctorville, March 9, woman alleged estranged husband has damaged her vehicle, spit in her face and threatened to come to her work and shoot her, woman said she fears for her safety, Terry Shaffer, 35, of 615 State Route 533, Crown City, arrested.

Domestic violence, violating protection order — 70 block Private Drive 748 County Road 27, Pedro, March 10, woman alleged man living with her hit her in the temple with a coffee cup, Norman Gibson, 49, of 72 Private Drive 748 County Road 27, Pedro, arrested.
