Community truly helping fight cystic fibrosis

Published 8:43am Tuesday, March 19, 2013

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who gave of their time and/or donations to Zion’s Warriors in sponsoring a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Because of you, cystic fibrosis is that much closer to CURE FOUND.

Thank you to the following businesses for their donations, Sam’s Club, L&J’s of Coal Grove, Giovanni’s of Coal Grove, Coca-Cola bottling, Subway of Coal Grove, Long John Silvers, and Haute Stuff Catering.

A special thank you to The Ironton Tribune and WKEE radio for the advertisement.

Thank you to Chesapeake United Methodist Church for the use of their facilities and the patronage by their members and to the Rock Camp Methodist Church for their support, donation of desserts and patronage of our fundraiser.

Thank you to Ironton Council for the Arts Board Members, Bruce Brown, Joe Jenkins and Marjorie McKee for your donations.

To my sisters Andrea Russell Holbrook and Kathy Shope, Thanks. I could not make it without you.

And especially thank you to each one who came for a meal, called for an order, or took out a meal. Thank you.

Again because of you, cystic fibrosis is one step closer to CURE FOUND.
