Evan Maddox and Cody Midkiff were keys all season to the success of the Fairland Dragons.

The postseason awards agreed.

Maddox and Midkiff helped the Dragons to a share of the Ohio Valley Conference title and a berth in the Division II district semifinals. On Tuesday they were both honored as members of the Associated Press Div. II All-Ohio basketball team.

A first team all-district pick, Maddox was named to the special mention list. Midkiff was second team all-district and honorable mention All-Ohio.

The 5-foot-11 Maddox led the team with 17 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. The junior guard also handed out 3.0 assists a game.

Midkiff — a 6-foot senior — averaged 10 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists an outing.
