PORTSMOUTH — Two negatives didn’t make a positive.
The Green Lady Bobcats found two things that didn’t go well and together led the Portsmouth Notre Dame Lady Titans to a 12-1 Southern Ohio Conference win on Friday.
“Notre Dame is a good team and we made some mistakes. That’s not a good combination,” said Green coach Dale Royse. “But we showed some good signs. We hit the ball pretty well. We’re a young team and we’re working hard.”
Green (2-3, 1-1) had six hits led by Erin Imes who was 2-3. Devin Johnson, Abby Cline and Hannah Cline were 1-2 and Micah Lewis was 1-3.
