Donald H. Clark

Donald H. Clark, 68, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. The Arabia native was born Oct. 25, 1944, the son of Arthur Clark of Arabia who survives and the late Alice Arbaugh Clark.

Mr. Clark attended Waterloo schools, was a former employee for Ironton Iron for 15 years and a former Symmes Valley School District bus driver. He was a licensed blacksmith/farrier and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Ohio Horse Club and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Dawn Clark.

In addition to his father, he is survived by sons, Timmy Clark and his wife, Valerie of Utah, Brian Keith Clark of Ironton, Shawn P. Clark and his wife, Melissa of Ironton, Todd E. Clark of Patriot, Charles R. Clark and his wife, Rhonda of Arabia; daughters, Belinda Hawks and her husband, Randy of Vinton, Kelly S. Clark of Kitts Hill; four brothers, Wayne Emory and Nancy Clark of Arabia, Mike and Sharon Hairston, Wesley and Lisa Hairston, and Jeff and Andrea Hairston all of Ironton, his fiancée, Sue Joseph of Ironton; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton with the Rev. Randy Patrick officiating. Richard “Rich” Sands Robinson, III, 30, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
