Man’s rules can never trump God’s laws

Published 9:24am Friday, April 12, 2013

In today’s world, is it proper to condemn sin? Any preacher who doesn’t will be held accountable by God.

God has condemned sin in the flesh, and given us the ability to read about it and talk about it.

Today our country has passed laws that make sin no longer sin, which is not so with God. I will name some that show how far we’ve come from the Bible. God’s laws are supreme, and supersede man’s.

Here are some that we have forsaken and just why our country is in a downward fall.

First for years we have forsaken the word of God in abortion.

In Jeremiah 1: verse 5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

You do not have a child unless it is given by God.

Second, we are to allow same sex marriages, gay rights, and say that if you are against them you are a bigot.

Well here is just what the Holy Bible says about that, in the new testament.

In Romans 1; verses 25 Thru 28 “Who changed the truth of God’s word into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even the women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.

“And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one towards another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not lie to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”

There is a list of things listed below these verses quoted, and we will all stand before a Holy God and give an account of our deeds.

As a Missionary Baptist minister of God’s word, it is my duty to proclaim the truth, or I will be held accountable if I keep silent. We were born in sin (because of Adam and Eve), but God made a provision for our sins, if we repent (turn from) and live for him, which I have tried to do.

Will you repent and receive him today?

Haney, you prove outrome’sand my point. You are assuming many things. Just because a man and a woman are married and have children at home does not automatically mean those children are in a loving, stable, harmonious environment. The divorce rates in this country are at record highs. Is that stable? Child abuse by biological parents on the rise. Is that moral? You lose any credibility in this discussion, haney, when you make wild accusations that are simply not backed up by fact. Is that normal? Yes if you are a wild eyed , straw man building ideologue.

It Defeats the State’s Purpose of Benefiting Marriage

One of the main reasons why the State bestows numerous benefits on marriage is that by its very nature and design, marriage provides the normal conditions for a stable, affectionate, and moral atmosphere that is beneficial to the upbringing of children—all fruit of the mutual affection of the parents. This aids in perpetuating the nation and strengthening society, an evident interest of the State.

Homosexual “marriage” does not provide such conditions. Its primary purpose, objectively speaking, is the personal gratification of two individuals whose union is sterile by nature. It is not entitled, therefore, to the protection the State extends to true marriage.

As is so often the case, people who talk about “God’s laws” are really just expressing their own neurotic fears and need to hate someone.

I noticed you did not answer my questions about your myth that marriage is for procreation. I wonder why? Classic use of a logical fallacy Haney. You can exaggerate the possibilities in your mind as often as you wish , but that is the problem with using a logic fallacy. They are easily dispelled. Stay focused on the topic at hand. Same sex marriage does not effect you in any way, but it makes a huge difference to those in love. It is going to happen. Make peace with it.

Ran across this few minutes ago, have heard of NAMBLA but never looked it up. :(
    ——————————–
The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) is a pedophile and pederasty advocacy organization in the United States that works to abolish age of consent laws criminalizing adult sexual involvement with minors,[2][3] and for the release of all men who have been jailed for sexual contacts with minors that did not involve coercion.[2][4] Some reports state that the group no longer has regular national meetings, and that as of the late 1990s, to avoid local police infiltration, the organization discouraged the formation of local chapters.[4][5] Around 1995, an undercover detective discovered that there were 1,100 people on the rolls.[4] As of 2005, a newspaper report stated that NAMBLA was based in New York and San Francisco, and held an annual gathering in New York City and monthly meetings around the country.[4]

NAMBLA has been defended by poet and rights advocate Allen Ginsberg[6][7] and gay rights activist Harry Hay.[8]

Suppose we overhear a conversation between a man and his son.
    Son, do you love me.
Of course dad, I love you and always will.

Hmmm, that sounds interesting dad, I “do” love you.

My daughter is married to a wonderful young man. He loves her dearly as she does him. Both are career minded people, both well educated. They have chosen not to have children. So you are telling me they should not be allowed to marry? Your description of marriage is just that, YOUR description of marriage. What about two elderly people who have never been married fall in love in their 80′s. You are also telling me they should not be allowed to marry? Asinine. Who gives you the right to define marriage. Mariage was around before Christendom. Marriage has been redefined many times in many ways throughout the ages, and once again marrige is being redefined. Calling something marriage does not make it marriage. Marriage has always been a covenant between a man and a woman which is by its nature ordered toward the procreation and education of children and the unity and wellbeing of the spouses.

The promoters of same-sex “marriage” propose something entirely different. They propose the union between two men or two women. This denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and psychological differences between men and women which find their complementarity in marriage. It also denies the specific primary purpose of marriage: the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children.

Two entirely different things cannot be considered the same thing.

But the 14th amend. does protect everyone under the Equal Protection Clause. That was he clause used for Loving v. Virginia. And a civil union is not the same as a marriage, and if it were, what reason would you have not to allow marriage?

As an afterthought; I feel the 14th amendment has it’s share of weaknesses. Per example, the American Indian and how they are treated (Citizenship Clause). Didn’t we steal the land from them and make them second class citizens? There is the possibility, that a little humility is in order, or should that be shame?

The 14th amendment does not support Same Sex Marriage. The term “marriage is not mentioned in the 14th amendment. It does support equal treatment for all members of our society. A legal Civil Union would confer the same civil benefits that a marriage does for a woman and man. A so called marriage between two members of the same sex is not only unnatural but ludicrous. Is there a particular reason the Homosexual community insists on calling they’re living together a marriage? A legal Civil Union will grant them all of the civil rights that a Married couple have. The Federal or State government let alone the Homosexual community does not have the right and is not empowered to change the meaning of Marriage which has always been understood as a union between a man and woman. This would be opening a Pandora’s box. The next move would be the legalization of marriage between a father and daughter, a mother and son, a brother and sister. Why not? Don’t they have Civil Rights? Is there a possibility the 14th amendment is being misinterpreted and being used for reasons not intended? If two members of the same sex think they can marry each other and have a conjugal existence, they are only deceiving themselves. A legal Civil Union would grant them all the Civil Rights they are looking for.

In the 1960s, society was pressured to accept all kinds of immoral sexual relationships between men and women. Today we are seeing a new sexual revolution where society is being asked to accept sodomy and same-sex “marriage.”

If homosexual “marriage” is universally accepted as the present step in sexual “freedom,” what logical arguments can be used to stop the next steps of incest, pedophilia, bestiality, and other forms of unnatural behavior? Indeed, radical elements of certain “avant garde” subcultures are already advocating such aberrations.

The railroading of same-sex “marriage” on the American people makes increasingly clear what homosexual activist Paul Varnell wrote in the Chicago Free Press:

“The gay movement, whether we acknowledge it or not, is not a civil rights movement, not even a sexual liberation movement, but a moral revolution aimed at changing people’s view of homosexuality.”

The ‘left’ pounces as any Constitution loving person should. This is a secular country. Live your life as God -like as you please, but do not ask me to follow suit. That is the way the Framers wanted it. The Constitution supports Gay marriage in the 14th Amendment, the same amendment that was used to overturn arcane Marriage laws that forbade a White man to marry a Black woman in their decision Loving vs. Virginia.

I can’t see how one can live two different philosophy’s.
God’s word is what I try to live by and Christianity is the most direct line there is to God.
Other than religion, where do we get our guidance to live by?
I also know that anytime religion is mentioned when condemning human activity that is, not natural;unhealthy(especially to babies); or dangerous to others(aids); etc., the “left” pounces.

As God-believing Americans who cherish the rights bestowed upon us and enumerated within our Constitution (perhaps better known in the Western media as “bitter clingers”), we are in the midst of the destructive transformation of our nation. The tinder is present and ready for ignition, needing only one spark from any source to ignite America into a state of chaos that would result in a tyrannical clampdown.

The firewall to prevent this transformation—the Christian leaders and the body of the church—is crumbling by inaction and outright apostasy. The parallels between the present-day United States and Hitler’s Germany are evident. Just as the similarities are evident, so is our collective inaction, which is eviscerating the very soul of America. It is this silence and inaction that will rip America from her Judeo-Christian foundations, and make it possible for a fall of biblical proportions.

Sixty-eight years ago, Dietrich Bonhoeffer died not only for his faith, but to illustrate that we must not be silent in the face of tyranny. If not for our own sakes, let us summon that same courage for the sake of our children and their children. After all, the ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children[ia].—Doug Hagmann

The first point that people like Homer do not understand is this nation is not a Theocracy based on Christianity. We are a Secular nation. Secondly , not everyone in our nation is Christian, nor religious in any way. We are a nation of Christians , Jews , Muslims , Hindu’s, Deists and Atheists, just to name a few. We are a nation for all of these people. That is why our Framers decided not to put God in our Constitution, nor require any religious qualifications to be part of our country.
