Kerns 10th as C-USA tournament starts

TEXARKANA, AK – After completing round one of the Conference USA Championships, Marshall men’s golf is in sixth following a 292 combined score that puts the team plus-four for the tournament.

Thundering Herd senior Nathan Kerns is tied for 10th individually amongst the 60-player field, scoring one under par in round one.

Kerns — the fomrer Ironton All-Ohio golfer — scored the 71 after tallying four birdies in the first 18 holes of the event.
