Women’s softball league reunion set for June 1

Published 9:45am Tuesday, May 28, 2013

Once again this year, on Saturday June 1, starting at 2 p.m., there will be a reunion of the players, coaches, and fans of the Ashland area women’s softball league from the 1970s and ‘80s.

This will be held in Central Park, fitting since so many games were played there.

This is the fourth year for this reunion and hope to see as many former members as possible. There will be a pot luck meal with hamburgers and hot dogs furnished.

So, bring a chair, bring a side dish, bring pictures to share and bring back some good memories. Is a really great way to get in touch or keep in touch with former players, coaches, and fans.

Questions? Email Debbie Nichols Haines at kmartcouple@windstream.net or call 606-836-5395.

Come join us for a fun afternoon.
