Domestic violence — 100 block Private Road 910, Pedro, July 5, woman alleged her father slapped her during an argument; Ronnie Abrams, 49, of the same address, arrested.

Domestic violence — 300 block Private Drive 5737, Ironton, July 5, woman alleged her husband hit her and broke furniture; Jeffrey Kemper, 49, of the same address, arrested.

Domestic violence, disrupting a public service, endangering children — 60 block Township Road 618, South Point, July 6, woman allegedly assaulted her child and two stepchildren; Sara Fugate, 27, of the same address, arrested.

Menacing, violating a protection order — Walmart parking lot, South Point, July 6, woman alleged her ex-boyfriend threatened to kill her and that he violated a protection order; Christopher Ross, 29, of 61 Township Road 1195, South Point, arrested.

Felonious Assault — 50 block Township Road 1231, Proctorville, July 7, man allegedly hit in the head with a 2X4 and stabbed, four suspects named.

Receiving stolen property — 3000 block County Road 181, Ironton, July 7, man reported two unknown male suspects stealing fishing poles from neighbor’s porch, pole recovered from man who said he bought them for $20 from two boys; Kevin Newcomb, 25, of 689 County Road 52, Ironton, arrested.

Assault, intimidation — Lawrence County Jail, Ironton, July 7, inmate Gene D. Cox Jr., 44, allegedly elbowed deputy in the face, put in restraint chair and charged with assault. Lawrence County Municipal Court, Chesapeake, July 8, inmate Gene D. Cox Jr., 44, allegedly heard telling other inmates he would “shank” the jail guards for putting him in a restraint chair and filing assault charges on him the day before, also said he would cut the jail guards’ throats if he got out on the street, according to the statements on the report.
