Ironton honors Russell coach Ivan McGlone

Russell Red Devils’ longtime head football coach shakes hands with Ironton Fighting Tigers’ head coach Mark Vass during a presentation prior to last Friday’s game. McGlone was given a plaque in appreciation for his 38 years as a head coach and for helping to keep the Ironton-Russell rivalry alive. The plaque was presented on behalf of the Ironton fans, coaches and Tiger Clan booster club. McGlone has more than 300 career wins and he has guided the program to a pair of state championships.
