Information — 6400 block 3-mile marker County Road 14, Waterloo, Sept. 1, individuals riding ATVs found the skeletal remains of what they believed to be a human foot; coroner’s office called to the scene; bone later identified by a research group as a rear bear paw.

Breaking and entering — Clark’s Pump and Shop, County Road 144, South Point, Sept. 2, alarm activation, front door glass broken, cigarettes and scratch-off lottery tickets taken.
