ATHENS (AP) — Tyler Tettleton threw three first-half touchdowns to lead Ohio to a 38-0 rout of Austin Peay on Saturday.

Ohio (3-1) scored on three of its first four drives, beginning with a 6-yard touchdown pass from Tettleton to Matt Waters. Tettleton then tossed a 53-yard score to Donte Foster and a 23-yarder to Waters to give the Bobcats a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter. Tettleton went 13 of 15 for 213 yards passing.

Ryan Boykin and Daz’mond Patterson added touchdown runs in the second half as Ohio finished with 251 yards rushing. The win was the Bobcats’ largest margin of victory since 2002.

The Governors (0-4) punted on each of their first seven possessions. They have managed a total of just three points in three games against FBS opponents this season. Omar Williams ran for 103 yards on 13 carries for Austin Peay.
