OLBH opens clinics in Wheelersburg and Greenup

Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH) will celebrate the recent opening of two new facilities with ribbon cuttings and open houses scheduled for Wednesday.

Festivities at Bellefonte Urgent Care in Wheelersburg, 8991 Ohio River Road, will begin at noon for both the center and the adjacent Stultz Pharmacy while the ceremony at Bellefonte Primary Care Greenup, Ashland Road, along US 23 in the Applegate’s Shopping Plaza, begins at 2 p.m.

Bellefonte Urgent Care in Wheelersburg features 5,100 square feet of space and includes eight exam rooms, one procedure room, and X-ray and lab services. The new facility represents a $736,000 investment by the Bon Secours Kentucky Health System into the Wheelersburg community.

The facility specializes in the treatment of sprains, broken bones, cuts, scrapes, infections, asthma, migraines, bronchitis, sore throats, pneumonia, sports injuries, colds, flu and other urgent medical situations that do not require a visit to a hospital emergency room. Medical services at Bellefonte Urgent Care in Wheelersburg are provided by Roland Benton, M.D., Bryan Fuller, M.D., and Zach Underwood, D.O. The new Bellefonte Primary Care Greenup features the services of Nikki Brown Christian, M.D. Christian is a 2002 graduate of Greenup County High School and a 2006 graduate of Marshall University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine where she also completed an internal medicine residency.
