Shawn Russell and Nitasha Williams, of Ironton, announce the birth of their son, Darren Brigham Russell. Darren was born Aug. 31, 2013, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Gavin and Sally Wilson and Jerry Abrams. Paternal grandparents are Darren and Lisa Russell and Scott and Jackie Marcum.

Darren was welcomed home by a brother, Bubba.
