The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Greenup County High School and is attending Southeastern Kentucky Technical College of Mortuary Science. She is employed at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Ironton High School and a graduate of Marshall University with an associate degree in applied science and Collins Career Center with a certification of completion in radiology. He is employed as an X-ray technician at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

The couple will wed in an open ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Greenup, Ky., with Dr. Tom Melvin and Brother Wayne Stephenson officiating.
