Ironton-St. Charles tickets on sale

Tickets for the Ironton Fighting Tigers’ football game at Columbus St. Charles are available in advance.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students and $2 for senior citizens. Tickets are available during school hours in the high school auto tech office and during business hours until noon Friday at Iron City Hardware.

 

Fairland annual golf outing set for Sunday

The Fairland High School annual golf outing will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Diamond Links Golf Course.

Entry fee is $65 per person and includes 18 holes of golf and dinner. Hole sponsors are $150. All proceeds benefit Fairland athletics.

Cash prizes will be give for first place, longest drive and closest to the pin. There will also be door prizes.

Community Hospice 5K run set for Oct. 19

The Community Hospice will host a 5K run on Saturday, Oct. 19, starting on the campus of Ohio University Southern.

The race begins at 8:30 a.m. at Ninth and Heplar Streets. Pre-registration fee before Oct. 12 is $20. Fee after Oct. 12 is $25. Registration forms are online at www.chospice and tristateracer.com
