Ironton game will be at Ohio Dominican

The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ game Friday against Columbus St. Charles will be held at Ohio Dominican University located at 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus 43229.

Tickets for the game are sold at the gate. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students and $2 for seniors.

 

IRD basketball plans youth registrations

The Ironton Recreation Department will conduct youth basketball registrations for grades K-6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, at the Ironton City Center.

Registration fee is $30 for grades 3-6 and $20 for K-2.

 

Fairland annual golf outing set for Sunday

The Fairland High School annual golf outing will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Diamond Links Golf Course.

Entry fee is $65 per person and includes 18 holes of golf and dinner. Hole sponsors are $150. All proceeds benefit Fairland athletics.

Cash prizes will be give for first place, longest drive and closest to the pin. There will also be door prizes.

Community Hospice 5K run set for Oct. 19

The Community Hospice will host a 5K run on Saturday, Oct. 19, starting on the campus of Ohio University Southern.

The race begins at 8:30 a.m. at Ninth and Heplar Streets. Pre-registration fee before Oct. 12 is $20. Fee after Oct. 12 is $25. Registration forms are online at www.chospice and tristateracer.com
